Anna S. P. Wong is currently pursuing an MPhil at Oxford University, Faculty of Law. She will be conducting research on the implications of virtual hearings on the administration of justice. Prior to Oxford, Anna was Lead Counsel of Professional Conduct at the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council, the national regulator overseeing licensed immigration consultants and international student advisors. In that role, Anna litigated complex discipline matters and Federal Court judicial reviews; she also managed a team of in-house and external counsel. Anna serves on the board of the Toronto Lawyers’ Association and the board of the Federation of Ontario Law Associations, and is secretary of The Advocates’ Society’s Regulatory and Administrative Law Practice Group. Anna has delivered presentations for various organizations, including the Law Society of Ontario and the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators. In the free time that she manages to wrestle out of her days, Anna likes to read and occasionally write.
