Daniel Faulkner HBSc, MBA Registrar & CEO, Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario Daniel is a recognized regulatory leader with over 25 years of experience in health care and professional regulation. He graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Western University, and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Services Management from McMaster University. Daniel spent a large portion of his career with one of Canada’s largest regulatory authorities, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) where he held several senior leadership roles including Director of Quality Management, Deputy Registrar and Interim CEO & Registrar. In addition, Daniel founded Lakeview Regulatory Consultants, advising regulators on a wide variety of complex governance, strategy, and program-related challenges. Daniel’s career spans all aspects of regulatory program oversight including practice-based assessments, quality improvement, national licensure and professional mobility, and practical risk-based solutions informed by evidence. He recently Co-Chaired the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care’s Working Group, which completed the first Ontario performance measurement framework for health professional Colleges.
