Julie Maciura is the Managing Partner at Steinecke Maciura LeBlanc, a law firm in Toronto focusing on professional regulation and health law. Julie has over 25 years of experience acting as general counsel, prosecutor and independent legal counsel to numerous regulators. Julie obtained her law degree, as well as her Masters’ degree in Administrative Law, from Osgoode Hall Law School. Julie also has a Masters’ degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto. In 2012, she was recognized by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a certified specialist in health law. Julie is co-author of the first and second editions of The Annotated Statutory Powers Procedure Act. She regularly presents at conferences in Canada and the US speaking on administrative law, health law and regulatory law issues. Julie was the 2019 re cipient of the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation’s Consumer Protection award.
